Create a detailed top-down D&D battle map of a small, fully inhabited fantasy underwater village built directly on the ocean floor. The settlement should feel functional, lived-in, and naturally integrated into the surrounding underwater environment rather than looking like a submerged surface village. The village sits within a broad underwater basin surrounded by rocky coral-covered terrain. A sandy main path winds through the settlement and branches into smaller paths connecting the buildings. The terrain should have gentle changes in elevation, with rocky shelves, small coral outcroppings, patches of sea grass, kelp, shells, stones, and scattered underwater plants throughout. At the center of the village is a large circular communal plaza, forming the main gathering point. Place a distinctive ancient stone-and-coral structure in the center of the plaza, such as a carved fountain, shrine, or magical shell monument. Several buildings surround the plaza. The village contains approximately 10–12 individual structures, each with a distinct shape and purpose. Include small rounded homes constructed from stone, coral, shells, and enchanted materials; a larger communal building functioning as an underwater tavern or gathering hall; a small market area with stalls and displays; a temple or shrine; a guard post; storage buildings; and a larger central community building. Buildings should have rounded, organic architecture rather than modern rectangular houses. Some structures should be partially built into surrounding rock formations and coral shelves. Include several naturally formed archways and narrow passages between the buildings. Create a large kelp garden and underwater farming area on one side of the village, divided into several organized growing plots. Include baskets, shells, farming tools, ropes, nets, and other appropriate fantasy underwater equipment. On another side, include a small underwater dock and wreckage area, with wooden platforms, mooring posts, ropes, crates, barrels, nets, and the remains of an old partially buried ship incorporated into the village. Make the wreck feel like it has been there for many years. Add a few small bridges and stone walkways crossing shallow underwater channels between sections of the village. Include several vertical coral formations and large glowing plants that act as natural lighting. The surrounding water should be visible beyond the settlement, with schools of small fish, drifting particles, bubbles, floating kelp, and distant silhouettes of larger aquatic creatures. Use subtle bioluminescent plants and magical glowing coral to illuminate important paths and buildings. Along one edge of the map, create a rocky drop-off leading into significantly deeper water. The village should appear safe near the settlement, but beyond this boundary the seafloor should become darker and more mysterious. Include a partially obscured cave or narrow underwater passage descending into the depths, creating a potential adventure entrance. Scatter environmental details naturally throughout the map: shells, coral, sea grass, broken pottery, fishing nets, crates, barrels, lantern-like magical lights, small statues, benches, baskets, ropes, tools, and footprints or disturbed sand where appropriate. The map should be designed specifically as a D&D battle map, with clearly navigable spaces, readable pathways, distinct buildings, open areas suitable for combat encounters, and enough space around structures for miniature/token movement. Maintain a consistent top-down perspective and clear separation between interactive terrain and decorative scenery. Style: detailed high-fantasy tabletop RPG battle map, top-down/isometric-free overhead perspective, immersive underwater environment, organic fantasy architecture, richly detailed terrain, atmospheric but highly readable, realistic scale, adventure-ready. Avoid: modern buildings, futuristic technology, submarines, excessive visual clutter, giant city-scale architecture, humanoid characters, text labels, UI elements, or overly photorealistic scenery that obscures playable terrain.
