The Mystery Beach

Create a detailed fantasy map of a secluded coastal beach, viewed directly with no perspective angle. Divide the image vertically into three approximately equal sections: the left third is ocean, the middle third is sandy beach, and the right third is a massive rocky cliff face. The ocean should contain visible waves, shallow reefs, scattered rocks, foam patterns, and one partially submerged stone arch. The beach should contain many distinct landmarks, including driftwood, tide pools, colored stones, a broken rowboat, a whale skeleton, patches of dark sand, an old campfire ring, and several unusual boulders. The cliff should contain cracks, ledges, rock formations, vegetation, shadows, and several shapes that might falsely resemble cave openings. Hide one true cave entrance along the cliff face. It should not be obviously visible. Represent it only through a subtle doorway-shaped arrangement of cracks, shadows, and darker stone. Include many convincing red-herring formations elsewhere on the cliff. The map is intended for a physical overlay puzzle. Several landmarks should form possible visual patterns, but only one specific alignment of four widely separated landmarks should identify the true cave entrance. Those four correct landmarks should be visually distinct but not obviously connected: a black circular rock in the ocean, a reddish piece of driftwood on the beach, a pale white tide pool, and a gray split boulder near the cliff. When viewed together, they should surround and guide attention toward the hidden entrance.
