A taiga forest in autumn. Some pine trees wear autumn colors, and the ground is strewn with pine needles and scattered autumn leaves. There is no path or trail; it is deep in the wilderness with trees visible on all sides. In the center is a small clearing in the shadow of the trees. A large campfire crackles and throws sparks. Next to it stands an old, dead tree trunk, six feet tall and bare of needles and leaves, to which a ten-year-old Viking boy with tousled blond hair is tied. At the edge of the clearing, five mud-stained leather tents are set up in a semi-circle, partially nestled among the trees. Pellets, bones, two bloody leather armor pieces, and cooking utensils lie before the tent entrances. Spears adorned with colorful ribbons are stuck into the ground next to the tents. In one corner, eight wild boars are tied to two trees, with scraps of food scattered on the ground around them.
