Street III

A capture of a dreary, rain-slicked medieval town square. Dominating the scene are multi-storied buildings with diverse roofing; one features reddish-brown terracotta tiles, another dark blue-grey slate shingles, and a third a steep, dark brown tiled roof. Weathered wooden barrels, scattered hay, a small cart, and a rickety wheelbarrow are haphazardly placed along the wet building edges, where small green weeds sprout from cracks in the stone. A centrally positioned, ornate street lamp emits a soft yellow glow amidst the overcast gloom, while a rustic wooden boardwalk with simple steps extends from the lower-right building towards the main thoroughfare.
