Hidden amidst constant mists and surrounded by treacherous waters, the island of Kuroshio rarely appears on maps of feudal Japan. During the Sengoku period—a time of ceaseless clan warfare—it became a silent strategic point, contested in the shadows by warlords, pirates, and forces few dare to name. The island is divided among three unstable powers: a decaying samurai clan struggling to maintain honor amidst famine and betrayal, a brotherhood of warrior monks protecting ancient secrets hidden in mountain temples, and a pirate fleet that dominates the ports and sea lanes. Meanwhile, rumors grow of a supernatural presence in the dense forests—ancient spirits awakened by the bloodshed. Players arrive at Kuroshio for different reasons: exile, a secret mission, a quest for power, or flight. But they soon discover that the island allows no neutrality. Fragile alliances, conspiracies, and battles will shape the island's fate—and perhaps reveal that the greatest threat comes not from men, but from the island itself. Here, every decision can tip the balance between war, honor, and the unknown.
