Entrance to the Outer Caves

Hidden approach to the fortress through the base of a mountain, a transition section between rocky exterior and mining cave, an irregular opening in the cliff face, yellow amrita crystals embedded in the rock near the entrance, damp dirt trail with loose stones, abandoned mining tools, worn sacks, small seepage puddles, sparse scrub and dry brush only at the outer edge. On the left there should be an early ladder clearly functioning as a shortcut for later. The main route continues to the right, curving deeper into the mountain. There are no large trees, no broad grassland, no deep water. The area should feel like a grimy infiltration through a militarized quarry or cave, with rock as the dominant element, cold dampness, partial visibility, corners suitable for ambushes, and a clear tactical read between entrance, main route, and blocked shortcut.
