Map of a small single-deck sightseeing cruise boat traveling across the Guaíba in the Sulao Pokémon region, inspired by Porto Alegre, southern Brazil. Gen 5 Pokémon-inspired DS-era pixel art. Crisp, colorful, highly readable RPG battlemap. The boat is a modest metropolitan sightseeing vessel used for short scenic tours of the Guaíba waterfront. It is NOT a huge cruise ship. It is NOT a luxury yacht. It is NOT a ferry carrying vehicles. It is NOT a multi-floor ship. It is a SMALL, COMFORTABLE, ONE-FLOOR PASSENGER TOUR BOAT. Show the ENTIRE BOAT from directly above, surrounded on every side by the blue waters of the Guaíba. The whole vessel must fit comfortably inside the image with substantial visible water around it. The map should function both as: - a peaceful sightseeing location for roleplaying - and a compact battlemap for encounters with wild Water-type Pokémon living in the Guaíba. BASIC BOAT LAYOUT Keep the entire vessel on ONE PLAYABLE FLOOR. Organize the boat along a very simple progression: STERN / REAR: open observation deck CENTER: large enclosed passenger cabin BOW / FRONT: small enclosed wheelhouse plus large open forward observation deck There should be broad walkable exterior deck space along BOTH SIDES of the central cabin, allowing characters to move around the outside of the boat from stern to bow. Do NOT create multiple floors. Do NOT create stairs leading to another deck. Do NOT create sleeping cabins. Do NOT create complex corridors. Do NOT create an engine-room dungeon. Do NOT create disconnected spaces. The whole boat should be immediately understandable at a glance. CENTRAL PASSENGER CABIN The middle of the boat contains ONE large enclosed passenger cabin. This is the primary indoor sightseeing and relaxation area. Use: - pale cream or warm neutral flooring - white walls - warm wood details - blue upholstered furniture - large windows along both sides - subtle nautical decorations - a few hardy indoor plants Arrange several small tables with four chairs each through the central portion of the cabin. Include comfortable couches and low tables along portions of the walls. Keep generous open walking routes between furniture. Passengers should be able to look through large windows toward the Guaíba while sitting inside. SMALL REFRESHMENT COUNTER Along one side of the passenger cabin, include ONE small refreshment counter. Include: - a simple wooden counter - small refrigerator/display case - drinks - snacks - coffee equipment - water - ordinary chimarrão / hot-water facilities - a few shelves This is NOT a restaurant. This is NOT a full kitchen. Do NOT create a separate café room. It is simply a small refreshment service for passengers taking the sightseeing tour. WHEELHOUSE At the FRONT of the enclosed passenger cabin, create ONE compact wheelhouse. The wheelhouse should have broad angled windows overlooking the bow. Include: - ship controls - steering wheel or helm - instrument panels - navigation equipment - radio equipment - one or two empty crew chairs Keep the wheelhouse compact. It should be clearly recognizable as the place from which the boat is controlled. Do NOT make it futuristic. OPEN BOW OBSERVATION DECK In front of the wheelhouse, create a broad OPEN WOODEN OBSERVATION DECK occupying the bow of the boat. This should be one of the most important playable outdoor areas. Include: - wooden deck planks - strong metal safety railings - several benches facing outward - coiled rope - a few nautical fittings - life rings - small mooring fixtures - plenty of open floor space Keep the center of the bow deck largely EMPTY. This allows passengers to stand at the bow and admire the Guaíba. It also provides a useful open area for Pokémon battles. OPEN STERN OBSERVATION DECK At the rear of the boat, create another OPEN WOODEN DECK. Make it somewhat smaller than the bow deck. Include: - benches - railings - life-saving equipment - stacked or secured life jackets - rope - nautical equipment - small utility fixtures Again, preserve significant open walking space. SIDE DECKS Create narrow but clearly playable exterior walkways running along BOTH SIDES of the central passenger cabin. These walkways connect the stern deck with the bow deck. Use wooden decking and sturdy metal railings. Keep them wide enough for Trainer and Pokémon tokens to move along them. The side decks are important tactical spaces during encounters. Characters should be able to move: STERN -> SIDE DECK -> BOW without passing through the passenger cabin. BOAT EXTERIOR Use a clean white hull with restrained blue accents. The boat should feel like a practical, well-maintained sightseeing vessel operating daily from the Porto Alegre waterfront. Use: - white painted hull - blue trim - dark window glass - warm wooden decks - silver-gray railings - orange-and-white life rings - practical nautical equipment The boat should have a slightly rounded passenger-vessel shape with a broad stern and gently pointed bow. Avoid exaggerated yacht styling. Avoid military styling. Avoid old-fashioned sailing-ship styling. There are NO sails. The vessel is powered by a normal modern engine. GUAÍBA WATER Surround the ENTIRE vessel with water. The water represents the broad Guaíba beside Porto Alegre. Use rich blue to blue-green water with subtle pixel-art wave patterns. The Guaíba should feel like a LARGE INLAND BODY OF WATER rather than an open tropical ocean. Do NOT add sandy beaches. Do NOT add coral reefs. Do NOT add tropical islands. Show gentle white wake behind and alongside the moving boat. Leave a LARGE amount of visible water around the vessel. This water is PLAYABLE ENCOUNTER SPACE. WATER POKÉMON ENCOUNTER FUNCTION The surrounding water is important for tabletop gameplay. Wild Water-type Pokémon can approach the boat from ANY SIDE. They may: - swim alongside the vessel - approach the stern wake - surface beside the railings - leap onto the exterior decks - attack or interact from the water - retreat back into the Guaíba Do NOT actually depict any Pokémon. Leave enough unobstructed water around the boat to place Pokémon tokens. The boat itself should provide interesting tactical terrain. Useful encounter spaces include: - large open bow deck - smaller stern deck - narrow side walkways - enclosed passenger cabin - tables and couches as minor obstacles - wheelhouse - railings separating deck from water Characters and Pokémon should be able to move naturally between these spaces. The railings should be clearly visible but not visually massive. Falling or being pushed overboard should be spatially understandable from the map. The water should begin immediately outside the hull. TTRPG READABILITY This map must work particularly well as a battlemap. Keep furniture sparse enough for movement. Make doors and passages obvious. Keep the bow and stern decks open. Keep both exterior side walkways readable. Do NOT overcrowd the passenger cabin. Do NOT add unnecessary tiny rooms. Do NOT draw a square grid. Do NOT draw a hex grid. The tactical geography should be immediately understandable: WATER SURROUNDS EVERYTHING, OPEN BOW DECK, COMPACT WHEELHOUSE, LARGE CENTRAL PASSENGER CABIN, EXTERIOR SIDE WALKWAYS, OPEN STERN DECK, ONE FLOOR ONLY. VISUAL STYLE Gen 5 Pokémon-inspired Nintendo DS-era pixel art. RPG battlemap with slight perspective on furniture and structural elements. Crisp pixel-art outlines. Bright but natural colors. Warm wood decks contrasted against white-and-blue ship architecture and rich blue Guaíba water. The atmosphere should initially feel pleasant, relaxing and scenic rather than dangerous. It is primarily a normal sightseeing cruise. The exact same map should nevertheless become an exciting confined battlefield when wild Pokémon appear beside the vessel. IMPORTANT LAYOUT RULE: ONE SMALL BOAT. ONE PLAYABLE FLOOR. ENTIRE BOAT VISIBLE. WATER VISIBLE ON ALL FOUR SIDES. REAR: OPEN STERN DECK. CENTER: ONE LARGE PASSENGER CABIN. FRONT-CENTER: ONE SMALL WHEELHOUSE. FRONT: LARGE OPEN BOW DECK. NARROW EXTERIOR WALKWAYS ALONG BOTH SIDES. NO SECOND FLOOR. NO LOWER DECK. NO BEDROOMS. NO COMPLEX CORRIDORS. NO ENGINE ROOM. NO MULTIPLE CABINS. NO SEPARATE INSET MAPS. Full vessel shown. Small sightseeing cruise boat on the Guaíba. Gen 5 Pokémon-inspired DS-era pixel art. Clean and highly readable tabletop battlemap. NO NPCs. NO PEOPLE. NO TRAINERS. NO POKÉMON. NO CREATURES. NO READABLE TEXT. NO LABELS. NO REAL-WORLD LOGOS. NO UI. NO GRID.
